We had a large party (20 people) for Sunday 530 dinner buffet. Went in a few days earlier to inquire if there was anything I could to do make this easier for everyone (such as prepay or set up tables so we could sit together). The manager was so kind and said they'd set up the area for us and even allow us in earlier if we wanted. I opted to keep the 530 time and instructed each person to pay for their meal when they entered, following Pizza Hut's normal buffet process. Thus we were not disrupting their process, other than having a large group sit together. Instead, they were so accommodating and allowed us to gather and pay at our own time, allowing us to greet each other first. Super great service!!! Nice variety of pizzas. Even allowed us to bring in a cake, and kept it for us in their fridge. They had a full house til about 830, but no one waiting for seats, so they kept making pizzas. At times there was wait for food (and plates), but it allowed everyone time to chat. I think the cashier also busses the tables so we took care of ourselves, which was totally okay. Actually kind of nice - completely self service. Would absolutely go back again, if they didn't mind our large group.

Work got me busy lately so today, instead of cooking dinner, I decided to check out this place at Kuakini. Lenie greeted me as soon as I walked in. This place is clean, big, and the ac is blasting which I appreciated after walking in the sun. I got a personal pan cheese pizza and a to go of Italian baked pasta with breadsticks. The pizza was cooked to perfection and piping hot, same with the pasta and breadsticks. I will try to go on weekend so I can do their buffet but overall, I am a happy wahine! Aloha!

Buggah was ONO! The Original pan is bestest when served hot! The flavors was CHERREH! And the pasta was creamy I could dip my breadsticks in it! YESSAH! It's not busy, they're not renovated or remodeled. It's the original looking style. But the food was delicious! As if time hasn't changed from here. I can't really say that with ALL pizza huts because sometimes although the original is always best, some don't taste as delicious. It's one of those IYKYK, kind of things. But they don't serve the food in pans anymore. It comes in the takeout boxes. Which I think is smart because it saves time and dishes. Then too, it also keeps the food from wasting. That way you take home ANY uneaten piece. The junk part is... because there's not pan to keep it warm while sitting, it does cool Down much quicker. However, I'd rather have it all in to go boxes and bags so that way we can up and outties when we ready. No need wait for waitress or waiter to cash out. Oh! And because they don't do inside service but allow inside dine-in, you order and pay for your meal at the register. Then they'll bring your order to your table. They should allow ALL pizza huts to do that. Rather than be only carry-out or delivery. Have a seating area inside or out so people can eat right then and there. Plus too, You have some families who want to sit down and relax. Anywho, that's how it was here. I had a great lunch. I didn't put 5 star tho because we couldn't have the buffet they had out. lol! I guess we just missed it.

Talk about making a come back! I was surprised when I read Honolulu Magazine March 2024 article about Pizza Hut offering lunch buffet from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Liliha location, then spotted my cousin featured in one of the photos. I thought, "That's cool!" I kept the info alive in my memory. A few days ago, out of the blue, my hubby mentioned he's never had and wanted to eat pizza buffet on Saturday. Worked in our favor after running a few errands in town. Inner kid at heart and nostalgia teen memories returned when I stepped inside the restaurant and sat down at a three seater, red table. Buffet offered carbs session of various pizzas served on pan, hand tossed and thin crusts via triangular or square shape. The square pizza I consumed was spicy. My husband tried a bbq square pizza; however, it was mild. Hardworking staff replenished the empty pans at least eight times or more in one hour. We're eating hot and fresh pizzas every time. Al dente penne pasta, marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce can turn into a Neopolitan. Regular breadsticks and cinnamon sticks are available. Help yourself to clean plates, napkins and forks, refillable beverages station. If you're craving salad with choice of dressing, inform the staff that's constantly on the move, they will bring it to your table. Free parking in back lot. First pay, then indulge. There's two separate restrooms inside. I'm glad we got to experience an inexpensive pizza lunch buffet as a family. Monies worth for my husband - yes, semi for me, and not quite for my son. Largest to smallest consumers.
